MY CODE OF PRACTICE

When I first started my apprenticeship all those years ago, the two men I worked for were always striving for the highest quality of work possible with asthetics always in mind even if it was behind a wall or under a floor.  They always used the best materials for the application and being trained by such great tradesmen it naturally has had a life long influence in the way I work and my workmanship.

I am very proud of what I do and also the fact that if there is a problem I will be there to sort it as soon as possible.

Overall Work Ethics

When I look at jobs or carry out maintenance/servicing, the main priority is that it is fixed completely or if its beyond repair the customer is shown the fault and permission is seeked for replacement.  I always prefer to fix rather than replace as there are too many problems that could have been fixed but tradespeople replace due to the higher cost in job.

When I service a boiler, I service a boiler to the manufacturers instructions (if available) or to a service checklist to be sure everything has been done - cleaned and tested and the appliance is in the best possible condition and running as efficiently as possible.

When I look at replacing a boiler, I don't get "any old boiler on special" and chuck it in, I will alwasy use one of the best manufacturers and the most appropriate boiler to do the job efficiently and with longevity in mind.  I am always looking out and doing research on boilers to be sure what install is the best, in a very innovative and competitive market. 

There are so many little things that can aid in efficiency and longevity of your boiler investment, which will give you years of heating comfort.  I am a great believer in using every aid to gain full efficiency and the best installation possible in the interest in protecting your investment.

SO WHAT I WANT TO ACHIEVE IS TO PROUDLY HAVE MY NAME ON MY WORKMANSHIP, SO IN THE FUTURE IT WILL ALWAYS BE RECOGNISED AS QUALITY AND BE REST ASSURED THE JOB HAS BEEN DONE RIGHT.
